Steve Canfield

Steve is the one in the code. He takes AI-built prototypes from Lovable, Cursor, Bolt, and Replit to real production as a fractional CTO, and has designed and shipped three public SaaS products end-to-end: Song Cage, a songwriting app across web, iOS, Android, and DAWs; Pulse, an AI business-intelligence platform across 107 verticals; and Cardify, an AI trading-card marketplace.

When you hire The Notus for engineering, you hire Steve. He makes the architecture calls, writes the code, and is the person on the other end of the call. He works across the full modern web, mobile, and AI stack, and picks the right tools, frameworks, and models for each build rather than forcing every project through the same one.

Dasha Canfield

Dasha co-founded The Notus and runs delivery: scope, schedule, and the steady communication that keeps a build from going dark. She is the reason a fixed-scope engagement stays fixed, and the reason you always know what is happening with your project and what comes next.

Small on purpose. The founder who scopes your project is the one who builds it.

We are not an agency funnel and we do not pretend to be bigger than we are. Two founders carry the work, and when a project genuinely needs another set of hands, we bring in vetted designers and specialists we have worked with before, and we tell you exactly who is doing what. You never get handed to a junior you never met or a team you never speak to.
